Muscat Blanc – White wine – Samos
Vinification process: The grapes for this wine are hand-harvested from unirrigated old bush vines in the 4th Week of August 2023. The wine is a blend of different wine-making techniques: 58% Skin contact (cold maceration in stainless steel on skins and stems for 24h@5C before being pressed) – 16% Orange wine (fermented with skins and stems in stainless steel before being pressed on day 15) – 14% Direct press (pressed directly and fermented in stainless steel) – 7% Oak (barrel fermented and matured in new French oak barrels 500L VICARD (medium toast). The different components were fermented with indigenous yeasts, aged on lees with occasional batonnage, and blended in the 2nd week of January. 4 weeks after blending, the wine was filtered and bottled
