Muscat Blanc – White wine – Samos
Vinification process: The grapes for this wine were hand-harvested from unirrigated old bush vines in the 4th Week of August 2023. The wine is a blend of different wine-making techniques. 88% Direct press (pressed directly and fermented in stainless steel) – 8% Orange wine (fermented with skins and stems in stainless steel before being pressed on day 15)
– 4% Oak (barrel fermented and matured in new French oak barrels 500L VICARD (medium toast). The different components were fermented with indigenous yeasts, aged on lees with occasional batonnage and blended in the second week of January. 4 weeks after blending, the wine was filtered and bottled.
Kostaki Alo is a light and crisp dry white wine. The concept behind Alo was to craft a wine that suitable for any occasion. It offers delicate scents of green apple, citrus, and a touch of yeastiness on the nose. While the acidity is lively, it is harmoniously balanced by a hint of residual sweetness.
