Georgas Family is a small artisan wine producer with its own vineyards, who use use sustainable farming techniques (organic and biodynamic practices) and with low-or no- intervention vinification processes. Under the frame of organic viniculture and winemaking standards they produce high quality appellation and natural wines, as well as nutrive grape products, affordable in every day dinner. They are a 4th generation family winemakers, the Georgas Family counts more than 380 years of recorded wine growing. The street where the family lives, which is the family’s old winery, bears its name (G. Georgas street). The current winery is the restored historical winery of “Kambas”. They are much aware on the protection of the environment throughout the product life cycle, they offer a less treated – raw whole grape products and terroir wines, from local Mediterranean grape, using no or as less additives possible. No yeast is used, no chemical stabilization, clarification and preservation wine practices.
Their organic / biodynamic certified plots are in Mesogaia Attica. They produce white dry wines from Savatiano the local indigenous white variety and Asyrtiko and Malagouzia, two Retsinas (resinated Savatiano), three dry reds, from Syrah, Merlot, and a rose Mandilari, on red demi-sec and a sweet white, plus four no alcoholic grape juices / grapewater / vegetal sodas and petimezi a nutrive traditional greek concentrate.
Piperato is a Rose Sparkling Petnat made of Mandilari 80% and Grenache Rouge 20%. Spontaneously fermented in stainless steel, with a second fermentation in the bottle with the addition of grape must, and a few sulfites added at bottling. Fermentation: 1 month natural vinification in temperature controlled environment (inox tank). Maturation: 3 months in bottle. Malolactic is naturally completed in the bottle, no filtration. Certified Biodynamic, Certified Organic. Tasting Notes: Dark cherry and small fruits, slightly spicy palate with great finesse.

Kokkineli is a Red Sparkling Petnat from Merlot 80% and Savatiano 20%.

Spontaneously fermented in stainless steel, macerated for 4 days with skins, with a second fermentation in the bottle with the addition of Savatiano grape must, and a few sulfites added at bottling. Fermentation: 1 month natural vinification in temperature controlled environment (inox tank). Maturation: 3 months in bottle. Malolactic is naturally completed in the bottle, no filtration. Certified Biodynamic, Certified Organic. Tasting Notes: Citrus and yellow fruits, subtle salinity and great texture.
Savatiano Black Label 2022 is a white Savatiano .
For vinification its wild fermented in stainless steel with 7 days of skin contact, with almost no intervention and no addition of sulfites. Fermentation: 2 month natural vinification in temperature controlled environment (inox tank). Maturation: 3 months in bottle. Malolactic is naturally completed in the bottle, no filtration. Certified Biodynamic, Certified Organic
This dry white wine is the product of a natural winemaking process with minimal additions. Yellow-amber color, complex aromas and flavors which alternate through time, mostly of a salty and nutty profile, well integrated tannins and good acidity. No added SO2. By minimizing additions and interventions the fragile bouquet of the indigenous Savatiano grapes can blossom and mature to full potential. With pleasant acidity its a mature robust white wine. Served fresh this wine is strong in both the mouth and nose and as maturity occurs mouth feel becomes more rounded and full bodied. Best served chilled between 7 and 9 oC Pairs well with light food dishes, cheese and salads.
The Retsina black label is a Savatiano, white wine.
For its vinification, its 5-day skin contact, co-fermentation with fresh local pine resin, no intervention and no addition of sulfites. Fermentation: Natural vinification, co-fermentation with pine resin for 1 month in stainless steel tank in low temperature controlled environment Maturation: 2,5 months in steel tanks. No added SO2. Malolactic is naturally completed in the bottle, no filtration. Certified Biodynamic, Certified Organic
This dry white wine is fermented with pine resin, a traditional method which adds body, aroma, mouth feel and longevity to the native Savatiano grape variety. The Savatiano grapes are grown organically and without irrigation. The pine resin brings a characteristic to the Retsina that truly differentiates this wine from all others. This wine is a perfect match with Mediterranean food.
Malagousia Assyrtiko Black Label
Of course, Malagousia 70% / Assyrtiko 30%, this white wine is Light yellow, floral, with fine fruit on the palate , Malagousia Assyrtiko Black Label is a throwback to the traditional farming and vinifying of the Attica vineyards, with biodynamic grapes sourced from a single, bush-trained and dry vineyard with minuscule yields, and vinified with no intervention.
Vinification: Wild fermented in stainless steel tank for 2 months, with almost no intervention and mild addition of sulfites. Fermentation: 2 months in stainless steel tank in. Malolactic is naturally completed in the bottle, no filtration. Certified Biodynamic, Certified Organic
